Marianne Koch (Dean)
Marianne Koch (* September 1930 in Metzingen ; † March 30, 2020 there ) was a German educator and Protestant theologian ; she was one of the first female pastors and the first female dean in Württemberg.

Marianne Koch grew up in Metzingen and initially trained as a teacher. After various positions as a teacher, she became director of the Protestant household school in Lindau-Schachen. In 1969 she passed the church employment examination and worked in various special parish offices of the Evangelical Church in Württemberg . From 1984 to 1995 she was dean in the church district Weikersheim . Ulrich Bernecker was her successor in 1995.
She herself saw her life path as a fortune. As a resolute personality, she paved the way for feminist theologians .
