Marie-Thérèse Sanchez-Schmid
Marie-Thérèse Sanchez-Schmid (born November 15, 1957 in Perpignan ) is a French politician of the Union pour un Mouvement Populaire .
Life
Sanchez-Schmid studied English to become a teacher. After graduating, she worked as an English teacher. Sanchez-Schmid has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009 .
MEPs
Sanchez-Schmid is a member of the Group of the European People's Party (Christian Democrats).
From 2009 to 2014 she is a member of the Committee on Culture and Education and of the delegation for relations with South Africa. She is deputy in the Committee on Regional Development , in the delegation for relations with the Mashreq countries, in the delegation in the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly and in the delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean.
