Marie Modiano (born September 1, 1978 in Paris ) is a French singer-songwriter and author.

Life

She was born in 1978 as the second daughter of the writer Patrick Modiano and the illustrator Dominique Zehrfuss . Her older sister is the French director Zina Modiano . Marie Modiano studied in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art . She then traveled to the American Midwest, China, Italy, England and Germany, where she performed with a theater group in Hamburg, Frankfurt, Recklinghausen and Munich. In addition to French, she is fluent in English and Mandarin.

She has appeared since 2012 with literary texts that have previously been published by Gallimard .

Movies

Modiano starred in a number of films, including Fantômes (2001) and La vie privée (2005). She was involved in the film music for Plein Sud - On the Way to the South (2009).
