action
The silent Sam is on his way south through France. His destination is Spain . On the way he takes the siblings Léa and Mathieu with him. Léa is pregnant and wants to have her child aborted on the way, but is not yet sure of her decision. Jérémie joins them at a stop. Léa and Jérémie get closer during the ride, while Mathieu shows interest in Sam. This does not make it easier for him with his silent manner. The first break occurs when Mathieu finds a pistol in Sam's case. Sam is furious and hides the gun, which is none of Mathieu's and the others' business.
The group stays overnight as it turns out. They make a campfire at an abandoned building and Jérémie asks Mathieu about his homosexuality . At some point Mathieu leaves, exasperated; Sam follows him and they both kiss for the first time. The journey continues to Sam's brother Alex, who now lives with a friend. Both brothers share the same traumatic experience: their father once took his own life during an argument with his mother. Sam saw the father shoot himself. The mother went mad as a result, and Sam and Alex grew up with different foster families. Now Sam brings Alex the weapon that his father once used. Alex rejects the gift. Some time later, the travelers stop and Léa plays with Sam's weapon for fun. He is furious and accuses Mathieu of having told the others about the existence of the pistol. He beats up Mathieu, even if Léa claims to have found the weapon herself. During a rest, Sam later does not apologize for his behavior. The group separates the next day and Sam drives on alone.
Some time later everyone meets on the beach on the south coast of France. Sam and Mathieu sleep together in the sand in the evening and Sam tells Mathieu the story of his father and his own childhood the next day. The next morning he travels on alone. He drives to Spain, where he visits his mother. He has the gun with him and is about to commit a crime, but changes his mind when suddenly his mother's new boyfriend appears. After a period of chilled talk and finally silence, Sam leaves. At the seaside, he throws the gun into the water, strips and begins to swim out.
