Sébastien Lifshitz

Sébastien Lifshitz (born January 21, 1968 ) is a French director and screenwriter .

Life

Sébastien Lifshitz studied art history at the École du Louvre and at the Sorbonne from 1987 to 1993 , worked as assistants to Bernard Blistènes and Suzanne Lafonts at the Center Georges Pompidou and then embarked on a career as a director. Lifshitz also played in small supporting roles in Open Hearts and Les terres froides .

He won a César in 2013 for his documentary Les Invisibles (2012), which portrays the lives of older homosexual men and women .
