Marie Reim (* May 8, 2000 as Marie-Louise Oberloher in Cologne ) is a German pop singer .

Career

Beginnings

As the daughter of the pop singers Michelle and Matthias Reim , Marie grew up in Cologne and attended school there. At the beginning of 2017, she completed an apprenticeship as a fitness trainer.

Marie Reim had her first TV appearance in 2012 on Florian Silbereisen's program The Autumn Festival of Surprises and presented the song Don't give up. Three years later, at the age of 15, she had her second television appearance - in the show 150 years of hits she sang take off your hat. In 2016 Marie Reim was on stage with her mother at the hit night of the year in the Lanxess Arena in Cologne. At the beginning of 2017 she accompanied her mother on tour and sang a song with her at every concert. In January 2018 she signed her first recording deal with Ariola .

First studio album

In February 2020 she released her first single SOS . The song comes from a team of authors led by Tim Peters, Werner Petersburg and Alexander Scholz, who had already worked with Marie's parents. The track was produced by Silverjam . After two days, the music video on YouTube reached around 200,000 views. Her debut album 14 Phases was released on June 12, 2020, followed by some appearances on public television .
