The Marian column in Wiedergeltingen in the Unterallgäu district in Bavaria was built in 1901 and was a listed building . It is on Mindelheimer Strasse near the St. Nikolaus Church . The base bears the following inscription:

"Erected by V. Lutzenberger Mayor in 1901"

In 1934 the Marian column was renovated . The figure on top of the sandstone pillar was replaced in 1955 and is by Otmar Paul .

When the surrounding area was redesigned from 2001, the already weathered figure was replaced by an identical bronze statue. The old stone figure was moved to a newly built shrine on the cemetery grounds.
