August Stern
August Stern (born November 10, 1837 in Nussbaum ; † March 18, 1914 in Bad Kreuznach ) was a German pedagogue, choir director and composer .
From 1871, Stern worked as the main teacher and cantor in Bad Sobernheim , where he directed the church choir he founded. After the foundation of the Diakonie-Anstalten he also took over the singing and harmonium lessons for the deaconesses . After his retirement, he moved with the sisters to Bad Kreuznach , where he led the choirs of the diaconal institution .
