Marijan Vlak (born October 23, 1955 in Sisak ) is a Croatian football coach and former football player . So far, he has been the coach of the Croatian first division club Dinamo Zagreb four times .

Life

During his playing career, he was a goalkeeper at Dinamo Zagreb, NK Zagreb and HNK Segesta Sisak . He began his coaching career in 1997 as the successor to Otto Barićs at Dinamo Zagreb, where he led the team to a 5-0 win over Partizan Belgrade . After a season at Dinamo, he moved to NK Slaven Belupo Koprivnica and then to the Hungarian Ferencvárosi Torna Club . He returned to Dinamo in 1999, was fired in 2000, only to coach the club for the third time in 2002. From 2004 he led the Slovak team MŠK Žilina and in 2006 he went to Hungary for Videoton . In the 2008/09 season he returned to Dinamo, initially as assistant coach to Branko Ivanković , after his dismissal Vlak was the fourth coach of Dinamo.
