Marina Goshkieva

Marina Goshkieva (in another transcription Marina Goschkijewa Russian Марина Гошкиева ; * 1982 in Leningrad ) is a Russian pianist living in Germany .

Life

Goshkieva studied at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory in the classes of Eleonora Grudinova and Tatiana Zagorovskaya . From 2004 to 2009 she studied at the "Franz Liszt" Music Academy in Weimar with Arne Torger and Rolf-Dieter Arens . After five years of study, she graduated with honors. From 2009 to 2014 she studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart in the class of Kirill Gerstein and completed another master's and concert exam with distinction.

As a soloist, with an orchestra or as a chamber musician, Marina Goshkieva appears in Europe, for example in the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic and Capella, Frankfurt am Main (Kaisersaal), Weimar ( Weimarhalle ), Jena ( Jena Philharmonic ), Valencia (Palau de la Música), Valladolid (Centro Cultural) and others.

She is a scholarship holder of the Maria Pawlowna Scholarship, the Gartow Foundation, the Graduate Funding of the Liszt School of Music Weimar, the Carin Riesen Foundation. In April 2009 she was awarded the culture prize of the Lions Club "Würzburg de Leone".

  • 2009: Culture Prize from the Lions Club Würzburg de Leone in Würzburg
  • 2011: 1st prize at the international piano competition Frechilla-Zuloaga Piano Award in Valladolid, Spain
  • 2011: 3rd prize at the international Jose Roca piano competition in Valencia, Spain
