The MTT Turbine SUPERBIKE (also known under the unofficial name Y2K ) is a motorcycle with gas turbine drive from the manufacturer Marine Turbine Technologies (MTT) . general description

Christian Travert, a former racing driver and conversion specialist, was entrusted with the project management. The machine is completely disguised and instead of conventional rear-view mirrors, a rear view camera and a small LCD television screen provide a view to the rear.

The drive

The drive consists of an Allison Model 250 Gas Turbine, in the helicopter of the type Bell 206 were used. The engines are replaced after a certain number of operating hours and continue to be used in other devices. MTT previously installed such engines in boats, vehicles or fire pumps until the President of MTT, Ted McIntyre, decided to also offer a motorcycle.
