Mario Bonomo (born January 25, 1912 ; † unknown) was an Italian ski jumper and Nordic combined athlete .

Career

Bonomo won the silver medal at the Italian championships in 1931 behind Ino Dallagio . A year later he won bronze before winning silver again in 1933. In 1934 he won the Italian championship for the first time. At the Olympic Winter Games in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 1936 , Bonomo could not finish jumping from the normal hill because of a fall. In the same year he again won silver at the national championships. He won the same medal behind Riccardo Rodeghiero in 1938 . In 1941 he was able to win the gold medal again.

As a Nordic combined athlete, Bonomo won a total of one silver and two bronze medals at Italian championships between 1931 and 1934.
