Mario Díaz Pérez (born March 12, 1960 in Teocaltiche , Jalisco ) is a former Mexican football player who mainly played in midfield .

career

Díaz began his professional career in 1980 with the CD Cruz Azul and four years later moved to Monarcas Morelia , where he let his active career end in the 1991/92 season. He is considered to be one of the best midfielders in the history of the Monarcas and now coaches their second team.
