Mario Fernando Hernández

Mario Fernando Hernández Bonilla (born December 7, 1966 - November 22, 2008 in San Pedro Sula ) was a Honduran politician.

Life

Hernández studied business administration . In 2006 he was first elected to the Parliament of Honduras. As a member of the Liberal Party (Partido Liberal) he was Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Industry and Trade and the Committee on Illicit Drug Trafficking and Security. He was also a member of the Committee on Peace and Democracy.

Hernández was attacked by masked assassins on November 22, 2008 in San Pedro Sula and shot together with two other people.
