Mario Göbert (born December 7, 1967 in Dessau ) is a former German volleyball player .

Mario Göbert came to East Berlin in 1980 and played for SC Dynamo Berlin , with whom he became GDR champion and FDGB cup winner in 1990 . With the successor club SC Berlin , the outside attacker was East German champion and cup winner in 1991 . With the SCC Berlin he was German champion in 1993 and German cup winner in 1994 . Then Göbert was captain and player-coach at SG Rotation Prenzlauer Bergin the regional league and in the senior team, with which he was German senior champion several times. Göbert is also active as a trainer and supervisor for youth teams in Berlin.

Mario Göbert's wife Rita was the European Cup winner and multiple German champion in volleyball. Their son Felix also plays volleyball in Berlin.
