Mario Ochoa (* 1927 ) is a former Mexican soccer player who played in midfield and attack .

Ochoa made his debut in the Mexican Liga Mayor in the 1945/46 season for Club América and moved to Club Marte in the early 1950s , with whom he became Mexican champion in 1953/54 and in the final on May 16, 1954 with a 1: 0 success against his former club América won the Supercup .

National team

Ochoa made his national team debut in a World Cup qualifier against Mexico's arch-rivals USA on September 4, 1949 , which was won 6-0. Ochoa also played in the following qualifying games against Cuba (2-0) on September 11th and again against the USA (6-2) on September 18th, and in the latter game he scored his only international goal just before the final whistle.

Ochoa was also part of the 1950 World Cup squad and played against Brazil (0: 4) and Switzerland (1: 2). The game against the "Confederates" on July 2, 1950 was also his last international appearance. Although Ochoa was also part of the 1954 World Cup squad , it was not used there.
