Mario Prišć (born February 18, 1974 in Našice ) is a Croatian football player. He is currently under contract with NK NAŠK .

Career

The defensive midfielder began his professional career with his youth club NK Djakovo and after good performances moved to the traditional Croatian club NK Osijek . After establishing himself as a regular player at NK Osijek and even winning the Croatian Cup in 1999, he made the leap abroad. Prišć moved to the Austrian record champions Rapid Vienna . The Croat established himself as a regular player under coach Lothar Matthäus and also played 4 European Cup games in his first season. Although Matthäus was replaced by Josef Hickersberger in the summer of 2002 due to unsuccessfulness , Mario Prišć was able to defend his regular place. After three seasons with the Hütteldorfern, he moved back to his home country at HNK Rijeka after the 2003/04 season . The Croatian won the Croatian Cup twice with Rijeka and switched to his current club NK NAŠK in 2008 .
