Mario Santi
Mario Santi (* 1941 ; † October 16, 2004 in Kenya ) was a Swiss sports moderator . He became known to a wide audience in the 1970s and early 1980s through his football reports on Swiss radio DRS .
Life
After training as a railway official, Santi went from Kuoni to Kenya as a tour guide in 1966 , from 1969 to 1984 he was sales director of the travel company and part-time as a football reporter for the radio. In 1984 he switched to Swiss television in the sports department.
He died of a stroke while on vacation in Kenya.
