Mario de Souza Mota
Mario de Souza Mota (born August 8, 1958 in São Paulo ), also known by the nickname Bahia , is a former Brazilian football player in the position of a striker .
career
"Bahia" Mota was under contract with CF Monterrey between 1984 and 1992 and in 1986 was part of the squad of the first championship team in the history of the Rayados to win the Torneo México 86 held immediately before the 1986 World Cup .
With a total of eleven goals he scored against arch rivals Tigres de la UANL , Mota is the Rayados' most successful goalscorer in the history of the Clásico Regiomontano .
