Marion Platta
Marion Platta (born October 15, 1960 in Berlin ) is a politician for the Left Party . She has been a member of the Berlin House of Representatives since 2006 .
Life
Marion Platta completed vocational training (concrete worker) with a high school diploma from 1977 to 1980 . From 1980 to 1984 she studied at the Cottbus Engineering College and graduated with a Dipl.-Ing. from. From 1984 to 1990 she worked as a civil engineer in VEB Projektierung at WBK Berlin. After the fall of the Wall , she worked as a civil engineer at hopro GmbH from 1990 to 2003 . After completing additional training as a building energy consultant in 2004, she was unemployed and self-employed from 2005.
politics
From 1987 to 1990 Marion Platta was a member of the SED , then the PDS and the Left. Since 1989 she has been a member of the Lichtenberg District Assembly. In 2006 , 2011 and 2016 she was directly elected to the House of Representatives in the Lichtenberg 3 constituency. There she is a member of the Committee for Health, Environment and Consumer Protection and the Committee for Building and Housing.
