Marios Athanasiades (born October 31, 1986 in Nicosia ) is a Cypriot cyclist .

Athanasiades was eight times Cypriot champion of the elite in mountain bike cross country . He represented his country in this discipline at the 2012 Olympic Games , where he finished 40th. At the Games of the Small States of Europe , Athanasiades won the bronze medal in the cross country competition in 2005, the gold medal in 2009 and the silver medal in 2011 and 2013.

In road cycling , Athanasiades was national champion four times, twice in road races and in individual time trials . Internationally drove in 2008 for the Cypriot Continental Team A-Style Somn , but could not achieve any international success.
