Marjo
Marjo (born August 2, 1953 in Montréal ; actually Marjolène Morin ) is a French-Canadian rock singer and composer.
Marjo is the second oldest of seven children. She initially worked as a model until she sang in the musical comedy Tout chaud by François Guy in 1975 . In 1979 she joined the group Corbeau, becoming the first female singer in a Québec rock group. In 1984 Marjo and Jean Millaire left the group, which ultimately meant the end of the Corbeau group. In 1986 Marjo's first album Celle qui va was released . After the rock songs in the 1980s, she increasingly sang ballads.
