Mark Daly (born March 12, 1973 in County Kerry ) is an Irish politician ( Fianna Fáil ).

Daly attended Holy Cross College , a secondary school in Kenmare . After finishing school, he studied at the Dublin Institute of Technology in Dublin from 1991 to 1994 , where he received his diploma in asset valuation and then continued his studies at the University of Greenwich in London , which he attended from 1994 to 1995. There he received a Bachelor of Science degree in business management.

From 2001 to 2002 Daly worked as a journalist for the Kingdom Newspaper . In 2002 he took part in the Irish reality TV game show Treasure Island .

In September 2007 he was elected to the 23rd Seanad Éireann for the Fianna Fáil . Daly was already politically active before his election, including serving in the Fianna Fáil University Association in the 1990s, serving as chairman of the Fianna Fáil Youth Association in South Kerry from 1991 to 1994, and participating in 1999 and 2004 Irish MEP Brian Crowley's election campaigns . Daly had already supported Crowley's first European election campaign in 1994, back then as a simple helper.
