Markhausen (Altmark)

Until June 30, 1950, Markhausen was a municipality in the Salzwedel district in Saxony-Anhalt , Germany.

history

On April 1, 1938, the communities of Markau and Holzhausen in the Salzwedel district were merged into one community of Markhausen . The community of Markhausen was dissolved again when, on July 1, 1950, the communities of Markhausen and Wiewohl were merged to form the community of Holzhausen .
