The building Marktplatz 5 in Lemgo , a city in the Lippe district in North Rhine-Westphalia , was built 1,562th The building known as the Old Ratswaage , which has been used to weigh goods since 1697, is a protected architectural monument .

In 1908 the two-storey building was converted into a bakery and restaurant. In the years 1976/77 a fundamental repair was carried out according to plans by the architect Walter von Lom from Cologne, in which only the massive gable facade and the southern half-timbered wall were preserved.
