The house at Marktstraße 36 is a listed building in the district of Stadt Gernrode, part of the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the southern part of Gernröder's old town on the north side of Marktstrasse and is listed as a residential building in the local register of monuments.

Architecture and history

The house was built around 1910. The plastered building, reminiscent of a villa , has a strongly structured floor plan. The facade is particularly characterized by the use of segmented arched windows.

The property enclosure and parts of the design of the garden are part of the construction period.
