Markus Herbrand
Markus Herbrand (born February 24, 1971 in Schleiden ) is a German tax advisor , politician ( FDP) and a member of the German Bundestag since 2017 .
biography
After seven years as a tax consultant and auditing assistant, Herbrand passed the tax consultant examination in 1999. He works as a tax advisor in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Politics and party
Herbrand joined the FDP in 2002. Two years later he became a member of Schleiden's city council . He has also been a member of the Euskirchen district council since 2009 . In the party, Herbrand has been district chairman of the FDP Aachen since 2014 and a member of the state board of the FDP North Rhine-Westphalia .
In the 2017 federal election , Herbrand ran for the constituency of Euskirchen - Rhein-Erft-Kreis II and entered the 19th German Bundestag via the state list of the FDP in North Rhine-Westphalia . Here he is a full member of the finance committee .
Private
Herbrand has been married since 2002. He belongs to the Roman Catholic denomination.
