Markus Morawitz

Markus Morawitz (born January 26, 1978 in Eisenstadt ) is an Austrian western rider .

Career

Morawitz grew up with horses. After an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk, he spent a few months with Mike Boyle in California .

After his return he went to Wolfram Isopp's stable as a trainer. He later became assistant trainer with Rudi Kronsteiner . In 2003 he went back to Austria.

In 2005 he won the bronze medal at the European Championships in Manerbio with Overlook me Jack as part of the Austrian team, in the individual ranking he finished 19th. At the 2010 World Championships in Lexington (Kentucky) he achieved place on Spin me a deal with the team 4, in the individual evaluation he was eliminated in the qualification test. He finished the 2011 European Championship in Wiener Neustadt with Dun It Whiz Jerry in 11th place, and Austria won bronze in the team classification.

In 2011 he is part of the Austrian Reining squad.
