Markus Mosa

Markus Mosa (born December 22, 1967 in Brühl (Rhineland) ) is a German business manager.

Life

After studying business administration at the University of Cologne , Mosa began his professional career in 1994 at Spar Handels AG . In 1999 he switched to Netto Marken-Discount . From 2001 to 2007 Markus Mosa was managing director of this company, which has been part of the Edeka group since 2005 . Since May 2008 he has been CEO of Edeka Zentrale AG & Co. KG and in this role is responsible for the departments of merchandise, capital goods, marketing and corporate communications.

In July 2008, Mosa was appointed as a co-opted member of the board of the Main Association of German Retailers (HDE), and in November 2008 was elected one of the HDE vice-presidents.

Mosa is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Deutschlandstiftung Integration .
