Markus Oijennus (born July 5, 1970 in Tampere ) is a former Finnish ice hockey player who played on the position of the striker .

Career

Oijennus began his career in the 1987/88 season in the Tappara Tampere junior team . Also in the following season he played in this team before he was also used in the professional team of Tappara in the SM-liiga from the season 1989/90 . In his home club he played a total of eight years before he laced up the ice skates for EHC Neuwied from the German 1st League North for the 1997/98 season . With the Neuwied Bears he also won the championship that season, but moved to TSV Peissenberg in the 2nd League South after the season , where he received a two-year contract. He then played for four and a half years for LeKi Lempäälä from the Finnish II Division, where he ended his career.
