Markus Rothkranz

Markus Rothkranz (born August 3, 1962 in Cologne ) is a German-American screenwriter and lives in Los Angeles.

Life

Markus Rothkranz emigrated to the USA with his parents when he was a child. He worked there as a special effects artist on Hollywood blockbusters such as Die Hard (1988), Total Recall (1990) and Red Planet .

Between 1992 and 1995 he was involved as an artist in the design of several pinball machines , including the Star Wars , Jurassic Park and Lethal Weapon 3, as well as machines specially produced for Aaron Spelling , for Michael Jordan and for the film Richie Rich .

In 1996 he was the director and screenwriter of the fantasy film Knights of Time ( To the Ends of Time ).

As an author

In his books and lectures, Rothkranz advocates the consumption of vegan and raw food and for self-sufficiency in electricity.
