Knight of Time (Original title: To the Ends of Time ) is an American fantasy film by Markus Rothkranz from 1996 .

action

In order to finally bring about peace between himself and the Morlin people, the scientist and magician Aeschilus constructed a machine in the form of a clock at the behest of King Francis, which can influence the time . The witch Karnissa steals the invention and thus drastically accelerates the aging process of mankind, with as much time passing in a week as in a year. The king then sends out an army, which is destroyed by Karnissa's magical powers. The 12-year-old James, who has grown into a man through the machine and who has in the meantime fallen in love with Princess Stephanie, now sets out on his own to destroy the machine. When James arrives at the machine, he is already old. Shortly before he would have died of old age, a ring that Princess Stephanie gave him as a present before he left, falls down, and a diamond comes off which falls between two cogwheels and consequently destroys the machine. James is back at the age of a young man, can escape and Karnissa is killed by a machine part. James returns to the kingdom and marries Princess Stephanie.
