The Markuskirche is a Protestant church in the Frankfurt district of Bockenheim on Markgrafenstrasse, between Falkstrasse and Wurmbachstrasse. It was built in 1912 and destroyed in the air raids on Frankfurt am Main during the Second World War in 1944 . 1952 to 1954 it was rebuilt by the architects Helmuth Hartwig and Edeltraut Hartwig .

Until 2003 it was used as the parish church of the Evangelical Markus Congregation, after which it was merged with the St. Jakobsgemeinde as the church of the Evangelical Congregation Bockenheim . In 2004, the conversion to the Annunciation Center of the Evangelical Church in Hesse and Nassau (EKHN) began. The center works in the three departments

  • Worship, art and culture,
  • Missionary action and spiritual life,
  • Church music

The church of the Evangelical Congregation Bockenheim is now the St. Jacob's Church .
