The Marmion Marine Park is a marine nature reserve on the west coast of Western Australia in Australia , which extends north of the suburbs of Perth as part of the Western Australian Sunset Coast . This marine reserve was the first in Western Australia to be designated by that state in May 1987.

The Marmion Marina Park covers an area of 10,500 square kilometers and ranges from Trigg Iceland in the south to Burns Beach Perth. There are a total of six public beaches. In the 1.8 km wide and about 6 km long protected area, which is located within the three-mile zone, there are limestone reefs along the coastline, which are home to numerous tropical fish. Fishing and collecting of marine animals, for both commercial and private consumption, is not allowed in three protected areas.

Australian sea lions and bottlenose dolphins roam the waters off the coast . Humpback whales migrate north through these waters in May and retreat in September and November.

There is only one island in the marine reserve, Little Island , which is a resting place for the sea birds and sea lions.

The Boyinaboat Reef in the marine park near the Hillary Boat Habour attracts divers and snorkelers.
