The Marnan Bridge ( Persian پل مارنان, IPA : pol ɛ mɑɾnɑn ) is a historic stone arch bridge in the Iranian city of Isfahan . The brick- built bridge dates back to the Safavid era , but its foundation is older and probably as old as Pol-e Shahrestan , which dates from the Sassanid period.
