Martín Machiñena

Martín Machiñena was a Uruguayan politician .

Machiñena, who belonged to the Partido Nacional , held a titular mandate as a member of the Cámara de Representantes in the 27th legislative period from February 15, 1920 to February 14, 1923 as representative of the Tacuarembó Department . Machiñena was the father of Martín O. Machiñena (* 1917 in Tacuarembó ; † January 31, 1983), who founded Lista 904 ( Acción Renovadora ) in the 1950s, the grandfather of the politician Jorge Machiñena and great-grandfather of the politician Jorge Machiñena Fassi .
