Marta Botía

Marta Botía Alonso (born September 15, 1974 in Madrid ) is a Spanish singer-songwriter .

Life

Marta Botía grew up in Madrid and was very musical even as a child. Shortly before the end of school, she met Marilia Andrés Casares , who formed the duo " Ella baila sola " from 1996 to 2001 . They celebrated their greatest successes at the end of the 90s. After three studio albums and one greatest hits album, she embarked on a solo career with an album entitled Keeping The Promise . In 2003 she participated in the musical part of the DVD "Trust the Magic" for Disney and a song in the cartoon Aladdin and the King of Thieves .

In 2006 she had the leading role in the film "Pobre juventud" by Miguel Jiménez and then starred in two television series.

In September 2009 Marta returned to the music scene. Until 2013 she formed the duo "EBS" with Rocío Pavón.

She has an older sister, her father is a journalist and her mother is the director of Iberia . Marta currently lives in New York, is married and has a boy.
