Martha Brooks
Martha Brooks (born July 15, 1944 in Ninette , Manitoba ) is a Canadian writer and jazz singer.
Martha Brooks is one of Canada's most important young adult authors. Martha Brooks lives in Winnipeg , where she teaches creative writing in high school .
In 2007 she won the Vicky Metcalf Award .
