Marthe Andersson

Marthe Andersson (* 1925 or 1926 ; † January 16, 2003 ) was a Swedish orienteer .

Andersson won the first Nordic orienteering championship in Kolmården in 1955 . With a winning time of 1:55:17 h, he relegated the Finn Juhani Salmenkylä to second place by over three minutes. In the unofficial relay race for teams of ten, the Swedish relay with Andersson came second. The gap to the victorious Finns was just under seven minutes with a winning time of 21:07 h. At the end of the season he was named orienteer of the year ( Årets orienterare ) in Sweden.

With the season of IFK Lidingö , Andersson won the Tiomila in 1951 . For this club he won the Swedish relay championship in 1960 together with Göran Malmberg and Ragnar Andersson .
