Martin Luther Hospital (Schleswig)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Martin Luther Hospital , also known as the Schlei Clinic , was a hospital on Moltkestrasse and Lutherstrasse in Schleswig . As a plan hospital, it was part of the Schleswig-Holstein hospital plan .

history

The six-story building from 1962 replaced the old city hospital. During the construction, an emergency hospital was built in the underground air raid shelter. The shell of the air raid shelter was completed on January 28, 1971; however, its establishment was waived. The air raid shelter was used as the location for the two emergency power generators.

In 2004 it had 315 beds.

The house belonged to the Damp Group from 2005 and was taken over by the Helios Kliniken . The house moved to the new Helios building on St.-Jürgener-Strasse in Schleswig. The house was cleared in September 2016. This was followed by an invitation to tender for the sale of the property with 24,380 square meters of usable space; under discussion was a use as a residential property.

Others

House 1 of the hospital was used as a film set for hospital scenes from the ZDF television production Der Landarzt while it was empty .
