Martin-Niels Däfler

Martin-Niels Däfler (born April 30, 1969 in Mainz ) is a German business economist and has been a professor for communication at the FOM - University of Economics and Management in Frankfurt am Main since 2010 .

Life

Däfler grew up in Aschaffenburg. He has in Würzburg and Adelaide (Australia) Business Administration studies. After graduating as a Dipl.-Kfm. in 1995 he did his doctorate with Kurt Nagel (1997). Since then he has been working as an independent keynote speaker, trainer and consultant. Between 2000 and 2008 Däfler worked as a permanent freelancer for the Boston Consulting Group.

Since 2010 Däfler has been teaching as a full-time professor for communication at the FOM University in Frankfurt / Main. His main research areas include: stress avoidance, burnout prophylaxis, conflict and self management.

Däfler has two children. He lives with his wife in Aschaffenburg.
