Martin Campbell (born July 26, 1990 in Edinburgh ) is a Scottish badminton player .

Career

Martin Campbell qualified for the 2011 Badminton World Championship. There he started in men's doubles with Angus Gilmour . However, both were defeated in their opening match against Ross Smith and Glenn Warfe from Australia and were 33rd in the final score. At the Welsh International 2011 he lost with Gilmour in the final to the Englishmen Chris Coles and Matthew Nottingham . Also in the final of the Irish Future Series 2012 he was defeated by the Welsh drivers Daniel Font and Oliver Gwilt . At Iceland International 2012 he lost again in the final with Patrick Machugh . In 2013 he won his first international title with Machugh at the Bulgarian Open . He achieved his second triumph at Iceland International 2014 . At the Portuguese International 2014 he reached the final again. At the side of his compatriot Jillie Cooper , he won his first mixed title at the Romanian Internationals in 2014 .

Martin Campbell has been playing for the German second division club Blau-Weiß Wittorf Neumünster since 2012 .
