Martin Fischer (born December 17, 1969 in Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen ) is a former German football player . The goalkeeper came to Karlsruher SC at the beginning of the 1997/98 season and played a total of 38 games in the 2nd Bundesliga between 2002 and 2004 .

Before that he was a player at the clubs FC Alemannia Eggenstein , Germania Neureut, VfB Grötzingen and 1. FC Pforzheim . It wasn't until the age of 33 that he came to professional sports. He stepped in for the first KSC team playing in the 2nd Bundesliga, the two KSC goalkeepers Thomas Walter and Bastian Becker were injured at the same time, with Fischer doing well with several parades. For the professional contract with the KSC, he gave up his job at the Karlsruher Sparkasse. In the second division season 2003/04 he was the goalkeeper of Baden, a total of 38 appearances in the first team between January 2002 and December 2004. He last played in the 2006/07 season for the second team of KSC, after which he ended his active career as a football player.
