Martin Friedrich Knoblauch
Martin Friedrich Knoblauch (* 1714; † 1791) was a Prussian building inspector .
Knoblauch is assigned the planning of the Bretterchen trench in Erkner in 1752.
Knoblauch built the garrison school (today the Kleist Museum ) in Frankfurt (Oder) in 1777/1778 as a foundation of the city commandant Prince Leopold von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel .
The patrician house at Oderstraße 15 was built around 1780 under his direction. In 1816, the wine merchant Michael Martin Lienau acquired the building, which was then given the name "Lienauhaus". Lienau's son of the same name donated the building as the first city museum in which there was also an exhibition on Heinrich von Kleist. At the end of the Second World War, the building burned down in 1945.
Knoblauch was in charge of the construction of the Heilig-Geist-Hospital from 1785–1787 and of the Georgen Hospital in 1794 .
In 1787, according to his designs, the medieval St. George's Church was expanded with wide extensions in the south and north.
