Martin Haller (journalist)

Martin Haller (* 1959 in Vienna ) is an Austrian journalist and non-fiction author.

Life

Martin Haller received an equestrian training, ran horses and pony breeding and ran a pony stud in Ireland . His journalistic work includes articles in German, Austrian, Belgian, English and Irish specialist magazines. As an author, he has written various non-fiction books on horses, farm animals and dogs. He also produced some educational films.

Haller lived temporarily in the British Isles, and these are a focal point in his work. Another is the dual monarchy Austria-Hungary . His specialties are horse assessment, horse breeds and breeding as well as cattle breeds and rare farm animals.

Haller lives with his family on a farm near Stainz , Styria .
