Martin Herrmann (dialect poet)

Martin Herrmann (born December 14, 1899 in Freiberg ; † November 10, 1975 ) was a dialect poet from the Ore Mountains.

Life

The son of a tailor attended the eight-grade elementary school in his hometown from 1906 and then became a teacher there. In his spare time he wrote several songs, poems and stories in the dialect of the central Ore Mountains.
