Martin Schütz (born January 24, 1960 ) is a Swiss organ player and composer from the Swiss canton of Bern. He plays mainly in the Bernese style of the traditional Ländler .

Schütz's most important own composition is a Scottish and is called Der Chines . The melody is influenced by Chinese, but has mostly typical Swiss elements.

He was a long-time member of the now no longer officially existing Länderbuebe Biel , also called Schwyzerörgeliquartett Biel .

In 1998 he founded a new country band under the name Bumerang . His teammates are former music students of his. These are Wally Schneider from Koppigen, Chrigu Freiburghaus from Murten, Christian Wyss from Zurich and Stefan Schwarz from Lommiswil. As with the Länderbuebe Biel, Schütz also tends to experiment here without neglecting the traditional Länders.
