Martin Schieber

Martin Schieber (born January 12, 1966; † October 21, 2014) was a German historian , non-fiction author and local politician .

biography

Martin Schieber came from Ottensoos , which was the center of his life until his death. The studied historian was a research assistant at the association Geschichte Für Alle e. V. , for whom he wrote numerous publications on Franconian regional history and the history of the city of Nuremberg. In addition to his professional activity as a manager in this association, he was also involved in voluntary work and in local politics. From 2008 until his death he was a member of the municipal council of his home municipality for the CSU. Schieber died unexpectedly in 2014 after a short hospital stay.
