Ewald Glückert

Ewald Glückert (born November 3, 1951 in Erlangen ) is a German historian , non-fiction author and former city ​​archivist .

biography

Ewald Glückert was born in Erlangen in 1951 and grew up in Nuremberg and Beerbach . The studied librarian worked from 1982 to 1987 in the Württemberg Evangelical Upper Church Council in Stuttgart . After that he was full-time director of the city archive of the Middle Franconian city of Lauf an der Pegnitz until he retired in 2012 . During this time he published, among other things, an eight-volume series of books on the history of the city of Lauf.
