Martin Scholten (* 1967 in Essen ) is a German visual artist .

life and work

In 1999 Martin Scholten began studying fine arts at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts . He studied painting with Olav Christopher Jenssen . In 2004 he completed his studies with a diploma. This was followed by national and international exhibitions in galleries, art associations and at art fairs. He lives and works in Hamburg. Martin Scholten's pictures "are created in a serial process - rhythmic structures and colorful harmony form the basic pattern of his acrylic paintings, often over two meters in size".
